meaning; the land where I was raised / born

Tano Hagodangan is a series of work that stemmed from my attempt of investigating the feelings of obscurity and unfamiliarity that I encountered during a trip back to my hometown. It was done during a period where massive lockdowns were implemented, unprecedented shifts happened. In the midst of it all, I find myself questioning why ‘home’ doesn’t feel like ‘home’.

By the end, I find peace, and how I come in terms with what home is now and in the future be it in the future, or the further coming of times when I come back home.

Imageries of Home

Images of home. Taken and shot for in regards to the search of the yearning.
Disparities. The search of longing and nostalgia, and finally, acceptance.
